Course in the Rules and Regulations of International Companies

Summary

This course, offered by the British Academy for Training and Development, sheds light on the various international business companies, where cases will be studied according to the requirements of the trainees. The course examines the types of companies, their rights and duties. The Companies Law establishes all the rules and regulations for corporate governance, and regulates management and control issues, fiduciary duties and financial policies, as well as operating the requirements of the company such as board meetings, ordinary general meetings, and extraordinary general meetings. The Board of Directors must have at least three members at all times. There are no nationality requirements for board members. There must be a way for employees to participate in management, either through board membership, share ownership, or the creation of a management committee from among the employees. In practice, this requirement can raise some issues in labor-intensive companies.
